Shoddy, Shady “Facts” and “Statistics”…
“Child sexual abuse is out of control. Just look at the statistics: 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused before their 18th birthday. [If kids were dying from "yadda, yadda, yadda" at this rate...the public would be outraged, and things would be done to stop it].”
– A Blatting Voice from the Extreme Fringe
There are at least two critical problems with these “alarming statistics”.
First, they are projected speculation, harvested from [typically anonymous] public surveys; where people’s self assessment is critical, yet that same assessment is vulnerable to pop culture, sexual superstitions.
Second, the term “child sexual abuse” is so convoluted, with extremely broad definitions conflicting against moderate [and honest] definitions…most people are likely debased, when it comes to any ability, to distinguish between normal sexual experience [development], and true sexual assault.
Many cultures are saturated with anti sex propaganda, most viciously aimed at all things related to childhood sexuality…as a result, public perception of sexuality typically designates sexuality including a certain list of criteria, as “assault” by default.
The law, many religions, special interest [and hate] groups and individuals have blurred the line…
…and large numbers of people, mistake what these cultural influences have to say, with “moral guidance”…or “what is right”, and “what is wrong”…when, factually, they are merely political.
What does it mean, when someone agrees, that they were “sexually abused” as a child?
Does it mean, that they are looking at the laws, or reading some book on “child sex abuse”, and admitting that their experience fits the technical criteria outlined by the author(s)?
…Does it mean, that they were never allowed to think of what happened to them, in any other way than “abuse”; and they never had the nerve to describe it with other words?
…Or does it mean, that they were factually assaulted; that they suffered real, measurable pain, injury and trauma?
You see?
It is all so very concealed, and vague…
…It is manipulation of raw data, at it’s worst…to paint a picture, and cause people to believe something, which has never been substantiated.
Always think deeply, whenever you are confronted by these kinds of “statistics”…
…and ask yourself, “If sex abuse is so rampant, and it’s so life devastating, then why has our culture avoided falling into complete shambles?”
Alaska as Child Sex Travel Destination?…
After the strange article title, which hints at a man’s attempt to coax a six year old boy into sex, via an online chat room…we find out, that the actual set of circumstances, are that no children even existed, in this case…and hence, no possibility such a sexual encounter even could have taken place, in the first place…and this was all soundly understood, all along.
A cop, posing as a “perverted father” [as the article phrases it], got into a chat room relationship with this guy…and eventually, the cop offered him his two very young, very fictional and non-existent, children…to travel to Alaska for the sake of sex with.
Now, the guy faces no less than 30 years in prison, and may be sentenced to life in prison.
Aside from the fact, that this is undeniably, blatant entrapment [which is not supposed to even be legal for law enforcement to have anything to do with], it is also amongst the growing list of examples, where an arrest and prosecution has occurred, in a case entirely lacking anything resembling a victim…
I don’t know…maybe, “this” guy is a complete dirt bag, who’s sole intent was getting easy access to a couple of little kids, for a quick and easy thrill.
…or, maybe he is just another victim of circumstances, who cannot legally search for intimacy where he lives, so he fool heartedly fell for the seduction, of “greener pastures elsewhere”…
Without question, what he was allegedly looking to experience, is not ideal…
…but, he does not deserve to be locked up in a cage, as though he were some wild animal, merely on the grounds that he had some online conversations, expressed a few desires, and took a trip to a certain destination.
These prosecutable non-crimes…thought crimes…or, crimes of circumstantial interpretation…
…whatever you want to call them, it does not matter…
…They are bogus, and exist for no other purpose, than to imprison anyone with a viewpoint or philosophy, which the establishment does not approve of.
We live in a time era, where prosecutions occur, over quasi crimes which never even held the possibility of a victim [in any sense of the meaning]…
This is just a new case, but this kind of government and law enforcement corruption, has been going on for many, many years now.
People get charged with attempting crimes, where it was never possible for them to succeed, because the basic, necessary, critical variables were absent from the entire scenario.
“So what?…He thought he was going to do it!”, you say?…
Even if he did believe he was willfully committing a crime, this is nullified by the fact that no such crime was possible. Where a crime cannot be accomplished, there is no crime.
The way these cases are treated, is nothing more than a psychological game…get someone to admit their naughty fantasies, entice and seduce them with a promise…and call anything they possibly do, in following along with the law enforcement officers lead, a crime, itself…allegedly, one which demands the same gravity of reaction, as what would occur if the original, promised and presumed crime [any kind of sexual contact, with a minor] had occurred.
The only person who committed a crime in these kinds of cases, is the law enforcement officer, who is committing an act of entrapment, and instigating others to take theoretically criminal action.
Such a person, is theoretically instigating a crime, while offering promise of comfort, support and often protection, during the commission of said theoretical crime.
If the law enforcement officer is held immune to prosecution, in these cases…then the people who become entrapped, must also be held immune to prosecution…because they are both taking part, in the same “crime” of fictional circumstances.
There cannot be any double standards here…What they are both engaged in is either a prosecutable, serious crime…or it is not.
…and the law enforcement officer is every bit as much responsible for this “crime”, as the guy who is being entrapped, and going along with it…Typically, the law enforcement officer is the primary cause, of these “crimes”, and he/she is far more responsible for the planning and agreements, than the victim they are entrapping.
Of course…let’s face it…
This really is the most direct kind of example, of thought crime…No, he didn’t commit any such act with a child, but…”he wanted to”…
…That is exactly why, the legal system jumps through so many hoops, while ignoring so many legal restrictions [placed upon their own agencies, and selves], in order to pretend that they “justify” what they are doing here.
People who like minors as sexual companions, are stigmatised so badly in these cultures, that even upstanding law enforcement personnel can get away, with treating them grossly different from the rest of society.
Legal rights to equality, only exist where there are groups of organised, like minded people…who are willing to stand up and force others to treat them as equals.
This is at the heart, of why Child Lovers, and Teen Lovers, are not accurately represented, or treated with dignity and respect, as citizens of equal status to everyone else.
Man had sex with boy for a year, police say…
There are a lot of different things that can happen, in a “sexual relationship”.
…It appears, most of the commentators on that story, presume it was an endless parade of violent, anal rape…five times a week, for a year…
Personally, I make no such presumptions…especially in light of the fact, that no such details are offered, that would provide the first bit of clarity.
We don’t even know “what” this guy is accused of doing, other than it involved some manner of sex, and a twelve year old boy.
…Could it have been, anything that does not deserve being called “heinous”?
…Could it be, that it was not factually violent?
…Could it be, the boy was genuinely happy and pleased with the arrangement?
Maybe these sex acts, were catering to the boy, every bit as much as to the man?
Twelve year old boys, are generally horny as hell…and given the chance to have sex…oh so many of them will jump at it. This used to be common sense knowledge…Now it is part of a larger taboo, nobody dares speak of.
If you call “me” a liar…
…then “you” don’t know any twelve year old boys.
I really wish these people, who are spouting off cliche talking points, and acting as though they profess the “gospel” truth…
…I wish they would explain “how” this boys life is supposedly ruined…
…and I wish they would do it, while explaining soundly, how it is that public stigma is not the critical problem at blame, should his life be “ruined” by this.
It seems to me, public stigma has nearly always been a necessary component, except for those most severe and violent cases…
…or, in other words, the true sexual assault…because these need no political spinning, in order to prep them for exploitation.
Real sexual violence, can psychologically injure people.
…but, sexuality that’s just called “violent”, because of a legal technicality in the law books?…
No, there is a lot more social manipulation going on in those kinds of cases.
In fact, many of those cases of trauma, are about nothing but social manipulation.
Sifting through the comments, it really strikes me…now negative, nasty and violently threatening they are. They could very reasonably be described as sick, menacing and even terrorist, in nature…Certainly, there is much hate speech there, and undeniably so.
If these people understood, news stories like these almost universally conceal, details that make clear what the accused is charged with doing…If they realized, they don’t even have a clear picture, as to what they are talking about [none of us would, given the limited information]…
…would it make any difference?
…Or, are they just flocking around the spectacle, because it grants them “free license”, to strut around in self supposed superiority…and say things about other human beings, that they would not likely dare say under any other circumstances?
It just staggers me, what so called “good” people have to say and express, wherever they get an open “free zone”…and they get the idea, nobody is going to think ill of them, for behaving like that.
You take some of those comments, replace some of the words with words like “infidel”…and they could reasonably fit, into a discussion with (website of, etc) a fundamentalist, religious terrorist.
I have a pet name for these kinds of people…
…I call them, The Cult of Crotch Politics.
No matter how tacky that may sound…I think it hits many issues, right center on the head.
They are very uniform…very non-critical…very aggressive towards anything outside their perceived “norm”…and very prone, towards parroting pop culture “wisdom”…
There’s not much thought going on there, if any at all…Just a lot of blood lust, and a convenient outlet for all the aggression they feel, over whatever is going wrong in their own lives.
